Very nice! Man he almost clipped that car when it started coming around. He did a very good job of saving it though.

Holy shit that dude was lucky, after seeing your other videos of that cruise I'm not all that surprised, at least he didn't end up like the WRX.

20 Vettes and not one could hang with your Vette JB?

This is the second wipeout you've shown where there was another vehicle coming in the opposite direction. These wipeouts have to be due to these guys getting spooked by oncoming traffic. Great save though. Able to spin that car damn near two times around, within two narrow lanes and keeping it there is awesome.

I guess that's what happens when you're paying more attention to what's in your rearview mirror instead of the road ahead of you. He should have just run his race instead of trying to loose you. Maybe he thought his stock suspension would out-perform your setup JB. laugh.gif These are all just my assumptions though.

I pulled over about fifty feet farther down the road, as soon as it was safe to do so.

My first question to him was wether or not I was pushing him, and that had spooked him. He said not at all, and took total resposibility for his driving, which from my perspective WAS a hell of a save!!!

It was not a race, just a spirited run in the canyons. I just go out for fun!! pint.gif

Another Great Vid! biggrin.gif Yes, I think it was the Luck and Good combo that saved him. When you push-em, you have to expect the un-expected, and expect the expectation of expecting ~ah,~ hum where was I~ tongue.gif ~ to loose it sometime. blink.gif If you have not spun one yet, yo is not pushing it.

Hey JB get some more photos of those women!

Reminds me of a SOuth Park Episode where Kenny's Dad is a drunk and he cuts in line in front of a bunch of people.

"You're a butter! You're a dirty line cutter." LOL

That looks like fun JB drivings.gif

My first few autocrosses got me the nick name SPIN tongue.gif . The next three years I took their Regional Championships! laugh.gif Just is ya got to know when to hold'em and know when to fold'em, and hope you didn't fold'em to late laugh.gif!

Rather practice on a track first drinkers.gif

If you apex those two lanes right you should be on the line or better on the inside of the apex. Well clear of any oncoming traffic and holding to drift out usually gives you some advance warning on traffic. But in a full slide? all bets are off depending on road condition and driver.

The one with the full spin was a textbook case of oversteer, the car looped to the inside. Also it can sometimes be caused by having the car sideways and just backing out of it fast, the momentum follows the front tires and loop~de~lou ohmy.gif . With the Lil Blue Dragon even with the auto if you down shift and it catches you wrong going into a turn? It will take you for a ride! (1998, No active handling).

pretty nice save there.. I could tell it was doomed for a spinout looking at the angle the car was making around that turn... I hope he had a fresh pair of underwear.

and BTW, your sig would last about a 10 MS on the CF
