That was damn close to a little leaguer trying to play hardball in the majors! -------------------- ![]() |

QUOTE (DaNish @ Feb 18 2006, 01:02 AM) It actually has stock pulleys still because he is about to get a Whipple more than likely. -------------------- 80 Z28 357, 89 RS 310 Crane 2020 Cam, 94 Z28 H/C/NX 150 Shot, 93 S-10 2.8 Lowered, 89 Mustang LX 306 F303/Boltons/3.55's, 88 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe 17 PSI, 88 Mustang GT Explorer Intake/93 Cobra Cam/Boltons, 95 Thunderbird LX 4.6, 89 Voyager 2.5 Turbo MP Computer/Boltons, 89 LX Powerdyne BD11A/Pro M Optimizer/Chrome Cobra R's/Saleen Body Kit, 86 S-10 350/TH350/Lowered

QUOTE (Speeds8erM-1 @ Feb 18 2006, 06:53 AM) Good choice. I thought it was weird seeing a 03 Cobra with mods and stock pulleys, never really seen that before. That LS1 killed him but it probably would have been a lot closer from a 40 roll, considering how the GT faired against it. -------------------- |

Yea, we always say "you have longtubes, tubular k member, clutch and everything but stock pulleys?!" lol, he dynoed it today, did 424 rwhp on a stock Predator tune. He has some pulleys he is gonna put on and instead of being on a Whipple Kit, he is interested in turbos now. The Z28 dynoed today, did 390 rwhp with the converter locked. It has some valvetrain issues. He is running a 1.75 rocker and it's fugging it up bad up top. The car has a bit left on the table! The Cobra will probably pull from a 40 roll, the 20 roll is closer to running from a stop where the Z28 has run 7.4's. It feels stronger from a 20 roll than from a stop too. -------------------- 80 Z28 357, 89 RS 310 Crane 2020 Cam, 94 Z28 H/C/NX 150 Shot, 93 S-10 2.8 Lowered, 89 Mustang LX 306 F303/Boltons/3.55's, 88 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe 17 PSI, 88 Mustang GT Explorer Intake/93 Cobra Cam/Boltons, 95 Thunderbird LX 4.6, 89 Voyager 2.5 Turbo MP Computer/Boltons, 89 LX Powerdyne BD11A/Pro M Optimizer/Chrome Cobra R's/Saleen Body Kit, 86 S-10 350/TH350/Lowered
