Due to tight regulations on some forums, people can only say good shit about tuners...
I've been to most in Socal, even the so called, self proclaimed semi famous ones. They all pretty much SUCK!!! I went to San Diego to get a fresh stroked 414 built and installed. I kept my same Novi 2k blower with my ECS bracket. Here is a teaser video I put together of a Runway shoot DVD I'm making!!! http://videos.streetfire.net/video/Runway-...Open_686050.htm Here is a shake down run on the way up to my mountain house!!! http://www.corvettekillstories.com/photoga...wnls3canyon.wmv JB -------------------- ![]() 98 Supercharged Coupe, 725 RWHP 642 RWT Forged Pistions and rods CNC Heads and Comp Cam Borla Stingers Vortech T-Trim with Custom Aftercooler setup Two Heat exchangers cool water for aftercooler Methonal injection Brembo Big brakes all the way around T-1 Sway Bars, C5R Springs, QA1 Adjustable Shocks Rodney Built Tranny, Cryoed Diff gears W/Hardened shaft and DTE Diff/Tranny strut brace Mcloed Duel Disk Clutch W/Kevlar lining etc...... Sounds GREAT!
I know the deal about finding a good hi-po vendor. It is very difficult. Even the ones that have a good reputation sometimes only have clients that don't drive there cars to the extreme. When that happens, you're the one who ends up testing their work instead of someone else. Been there, done that... When are you going to post a "special video" of your models in the Babes section? -------------------- 2000 WHITE FRC - A few bolt.. in and on's..

I hear ya on the clients that think spirited driving is hitting 80 at the end of a Freeway on ramp!!! They never really push the car, so the flaws are slow to appear. When they do, they continue to praise the same tuner, so he won't charge them too much more to fix his own mistakes, or take too long. I've been guilty of this, but told the present shops that will not happen anymore!!! I've tested the shit out of stuff, then they get the credit! I've given tons of business over the last 6 years to a few different shops by promotion of their business, only to have them push me to the side if it was not convenient for them to work on my car... THERE"S MY RANT, thanks for allowing me to share David!!! Here's a short video of Lacie Marie and crew, she is a finalist in Maxim's Home town Honey contest, and needed a vid. I put this together for her last night! http://www.corvettekillstories.com/photoga.../Pics/Lacie.wmv Thanks again!!! JB |

sorry to about the lack of reliable tuners. When ever I get the money to do that level of work i'm going to have to send/take it to Texas, there's none out here.

Who did you use to build the engine? The only reputable engine builders I know of I really wouldnt care to trust for an LSX based engine. And looking at your canyon video, those coilovers must be amazing. My car would be trying to upset the rear of the car on a lot of those corners.

Someone on this forum had a really bad experience with Texas Speed and their engine building -------------------- 2000 WHITE FRC - A few bolt.. in and on's..

I was thinking about LG motor sports, what do any here know personally about them ? Every body "knows somebody that knows somebody" but what do you know first hand.

You may want to ask Lenz06, I think he had some work done by them I've heard good things about 21century musclecars as well -------------------- 2000 WHITE FRC - A few bolt.. in and on's..

I'm still sorting out lingering issues from my last tuner before I can go on a REALLY nice all out Canyon run, or even think about hitting the roadcourse... |

I used a guy in San Diego, I think he did a pretty good job, but the jury is still out due to small unresolved issues he left me with. Let's just hope they don't turn into major issues. The Pfadt coilovers with T-1 bars work real nice!!! |

Man that car sounds GREAT!
I am a bit surprised with using a stroker for a blower engine. I thought you would not want so much compression with a blower. -------------------- ![]() 1985 L98 stock 225HP/330TQ TPI. A4, 3.07.
