I guess this means the stock twin turbo's have been removed and a single Turbo has been put to supply the power.

Actually my only mods are intake and exhaust
the supra is a beast though, now it has around 1000hp at the flywheel .
Thanks everyone, sorry I lost one for the corvette group, but if it makes you feel any better the owner of that car also has a 03' black Z06

They sell kits for them to use usually a T66 or a T88 turbo. Takes forever to spool them up with the small displacement so they go from rolls and prespool the turbo. Not uncommon to see 1000 HP from those. They also trap around 140 in the quarter but run 12's doing it.

Yeah a lot of Supras run low 12's or high 11's, but there is this one supra that runs 9's.
9.8@153MphBut most Supras have terrible turbo lag.

HAHA you can find LOTS of Supras, including full weight Supras in the 9s, and 10s are pretty common, especially with an auto tranny/stall. It definitely takes some technique to properly launch a high HP 6-speed though.

if your gonna go with an intake i suggest the LSx intake. it's around 900 bucks but it's bad ass and outflows the stock LS6 intake about 20% or more.
Ramsie
Aug 29 2004, 05:16 AM
900$ is a little too high for me right now...
I just turned 18 and I dont make much at all working at a Deli... lol
Maybe in another year or so ill add a few new things to it. H/C maybe.
But I think im going to get it dynotuned, get a purgekit,NGK TR6s,and run a 150shot. After that I need to save for a new clutch!

The LSX is not going to be a good bang for the buck over the LS6 unless you are FI around 600 rwhp and looking for that little extra. You can pick up a LS6 intake pretty cheap though and then spend te extra on a Nitrous kit
