Taking a right on a red, my bud and I see a mustang and cougar racing down our street. Right off the light, they were close until the mustang hit second gear. The mustang was pulling away and I looked at my friend and said "watch this." Next the mustang blew by us. So I put it to the floor and pulled 15 psi and the gap closed fast. My friend was amazed as he watched three car lengths turn into zero almost instantly. Then finally I started gaining on some traffic, so I slowed down from my bottomed out speedo of 85 to 35 to let the mustang catch up so we could have another go. My friend and I waited for about a minute at the stop light but the guy in the 95 mustang stopped early so he didn’t have to sit next to me at the light. I don’t blame him.

You just gotta love those GNs..... One of the very few times that Buick actually got it right...!!! I used to have a 89 Turbo T/A which had substantially the G/N motor.. It ran real good....

Nice. It must be comical having a 85-mph speedo on a GN. I remember a well modded 5.0L Stang a friend of mine had with 85 mph speedo, LOL he wrapped it around so hard so many times, I'm surprised the needle didn't break.........

Quigs, I'm in Minnesota, New Prague actually but am in the cities very often. I would be interested in seeing how I'd fare against a modded GN.

had a 91 Dynasty w/3.3L V6 that was running off 25%methonal and 75% alcohol. Great car until the tranny blew. I won alot of street races with it.

Sorry for the extremly late reply but I've been busy. To answer your question I used to go racing with the carvette forum guys. Then everyone from carvette went to vetteaction and I haven't had time to race more than 3 times last summer. now thats just depressing.
