Pipers Gap runs from the Blue Ridge Parkway (mile marker 193 I think) down the side of the mountain to Hwy 52 in Mt Airy. It's only a couple miles long, but nothing but switch backs and tight curves. It's about a lane and a half wide and no guard rails! If it doesn't get your juices flowing, nothing will!

since theres some other people here from va beach...i have some questions.

1. anyone know a guy with a black c5 that has a back windshield banner that says 'dynotuned performance?' i saw him on 264W on day going towards downtown. i pulled next to him to check the car out, and then it came time for me to merge over, so i downshifted and got around him. after we went thru the tunnel (he was left lane i was right) he was in front of me, so i got behind him..and he took off like a bat outta hell. just curious if anyone knows him...

2. i was one 264E on night, cruising..doing like 65 i think, and another bacl c5 is gently going in and out of traffic. so i naturally follow. i think he was stock, because i wasnt in the trottle at all, a few times i didnt downshift, and i was staying right on his bumper. the time came when i wasnt playing anymore, and i moved to pass him on the right. and right as i was pulling next to him, he slammed the breaks. i look real quick and i see a cop, so i hit them too (he stopped ALOT quicker i might add. lol). cops pulled me over and said he clocked the vette at 119, but he only got him for a split second cause i pulled next to him and fugged up his reading. he ended up letting me go and complimented me on my car. just wanna see if anyone knows him as well.

i only ask because vettes are by far the top car on my list of fav cars. and i dont know many people around here who care about them performance wise. i always see vettes around, but never and 'fun' ones. :(

how good of a tune did they do? my friend went to them with a STS turbo'd z28, and somehow they lost power with their tune....
