98 Z28 with Patriot Heads, FM11 Cam, FAST 90mm Intake & TB, Yank 4000 Stall, 3.73's, MT Radials and John Weeks Tune vs 04 Cobra with BBK Longtubes, BBK X Pipe, Magnaflow Catback, QA1 Tubular K Member, CAI and Predator. STOCK pulleys and no real dyno tune or anything. 20 roll, Cobra gets the jump because the Z28 couldnt hear the horn.

That was damn close to a little leaguer trying to play hardball in the majors!

Basically lol We had just left the track, the Z28 had run a 7.4@91.8 that day.

It actually has stock pulleys still because he is about to get a Whipple more than likely.

Good choice. I thought it was weird seeing a 03 Cobra with mods and stock pulleys, never really seen that before. That LS1 killed him but it probably would have been a lot closer from a 40 roll, considering how the GT faired against it.

Yea, we always say "you have longtubes, tubular k member, clutch and everything but stock pulleys?!" lol, he dynoed it today, did 424 rwhp on a stock Predator tune. He has some pulleys he is gonna put on and instead of being on a Whipple Kit, he is interested in turbos now.
The Z28 dynoed today, did 390 rwhp with the converter locked. It has some valvetrain issues. He is running a 1.75 rocker and it's fugging it up bad up top. The car has a bit left on the table!
The Cobra will probably pull from a 40 roll, the 20 roll is closer to running from a stop where the Z28 has run 7.4's. It feels stronger from a 20 roll than from a stop too.
