Video filmed and edited by my friend.

98 Z28 with Patriot 5.7 Heads, FM11 Cam, LS6 Intake, LT's, Cutout, XXX Dyno Tune, Yank 4000 Stall and 3.73's vs 00 WS6 with FM11 Cam, LS6 Intake, LT's, cutout and XXX Street Tune. 45 roll. It's interesting to see that the car with more mods is infact slowed down from a roll because it's an automatic with a big converter. They ran about 1 second apart at the track but are close on the street.

i say they are pretty damn close! does either have a built 12 bolt or 9"? if so that probably explains the different ET's at the track. if the M6 car is on the stock 10 bolt no wonder tongue.gif

Both are on stock 7.5's, the 98 Z28 has 3.73's, the 00 WS6 has 3.42's. The 98 Z28 has a Moser 12 Bolt on the way. Even slicks and a 12 bolt wouldnt help em right now, he wasnt getting the launch down yet. His last car was a 99 WS6 automatic with a Procharger P1SC, cam and stuff.

I'm thinking that if the guy in the WS6 were to shift the car like he stole it, he would have creeped away especially with that early jump. I'd say by a half a car at least. Nice run!

thanks

Yep but thats what makes it interesting, it's person vs person, not car vs car, well, it is but it isnt. If he would shift it, it would move out some!
