H/C/I with 100 shot, on a 302? I say you're putting down........ 450rwhp. Am I close, am I close!?!?
2,800lbs, Your Notch is that light? Is it striped? Also, the Cobras race weight could be correct. I've read the curb weight of an 03 Cobra to be around 3,660lbs. Add the driver who doesn't look like a lightweight himself along with his passenger (Camera guy) and his race weight could very well be 4,100lbs. As far as short shifting at 4 grand... Come on dude, that's usually when the power starts coming in and you're saying that's where you were shifting? Your car sounded like it was screaming

Last but not least, how about you fess up and admit you slept on the flagman instead of saying you let him get the jump.
Nevertheless, awesome race! Always makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside to see a foxbody represent!

Kudos for the race from a dig!

Mine weight 2970 with me in it and about 3 gallons of gas... with no tools in it...
Well I had over 100lbs in tools and a bunch of crap in the back seat... Filled the 15 gallon fuel cell to top, also had a two hundred pound passenger... My car is full interior... I didnt sleep at the flagger, I let him go which I always do on the street, So they cant say I jumped the gun...
I shifted out of first at 4 grand because on the juice, First and second gear spin like crazy... I bogged in second gear spun..... Got traction in third. got the two car lead back, then went by in 4th gear.....
It was fun....
I raced their faster car...
Cobra that went 11.3s at 123 mph...
I didnt let him get the jump and I went full throttle and pedaled thru first and second gear... I had him by 3 cars at 135 mph..... So much for the supercharger pulling on the street
