A couple of races between a couple of friends of mine. The mach is a 5 speed. The lightning just did a pulley swap, got a new tune and a set of DR's. He ran a 13.2 with the pulley swap last weekend but doesn't have any times with the tune & DR's. Sorry for the piss poor quality of the video. I was using a friends camcorder which obviously has a focus problem.

I guess you would know best. I was thinking about getting a MachI. Are they worth it?

I personally love mine. It depends on what you plan on doing to it. It would be nicer to have forged internals and an iron block like the Cobras for a future power adder though.

Well I've heard the aluminum blocks can with stand up to 800hp. I remember reading about that in one of my Mustang mags back when it was all about the SN95 Cobra, 4v Aluminum N/A deal. I also have a mustang mag now that has lidio from Alternative Auto or Alternative racing, I forget but he was using a kB 2.2 at 18psi on a MachI and running 10s. I think he managed to put down around 560rwhp on race gas, stock exhaust, stock everything with the exception of blower, injectors, and fuel pump. He did ventilate the block though. tongue.gif He blamed it on the weak internals.

Nice Vids. What are the power numbers on Stock Mach 1s ?

FWHP is 310 and 320 tq. Most dyno around 260-280hp.
