Why is this video labled cobra hahaha? First, that guy had to be running very low boost because NO wrx can keep up with my cobra like that. There would be no chance in hell. Even when the rx7 did cruising speed and let the cobra and wrx go at it, i wasnt impressed on how the cobra flew by. Good races though.

Well first of all both these guys should have their cars impounded. You do NOT do this in traffic like that.

Second, I would like to know what that WRX had done to it and also the Cobra. It seems to me the Cobra would have been better off with just turning up the boost on the factory SC. For a twin turbo I would expect more out of it. Maybe it was not tuned or leaking some air from the ductwork joints.

Good vid though, it was a close contest. I would have liked it better though without all the traffic interference and fly-bys, I do not approve of this at all.

The reason this is posted and I am laughing about it is because someone e-mailed me and said he wanted to race me. I don't know if it came from this forum or not but whatever this car is a joke maybe a high 11 at its best.

Racing in traffic like that is a big no-no. Still without knowing the mods on both cars its hard to judge. Cobra had the edge though.

Those guys are tools! Making everyone on the freeway slow down behind them while they line up and then whizzing by while racing, etc. I mean, how hard is it to find a safe place to run...really? Idiots.

What the hell was that Cobra running, 3 psi's of boost? I've read that Turbocharged Cobras usually run in the 800 rwhp levels.

Frankly, I don't think either one of them could drive worth a flip and where they were racing is very unsafe.

damn mean little WRX to hang with a Twin Turbo Cobra. Probably a nice little weight difference between the two cars which definetely helped the WRX in the race

I have an 2003 Cobra that pulls harder and is making less than 500rwhp. There must have been something wrong with the car.

I think those guys are idiots to race in traffic like that but they can't hold a candle to these guy's.
