This is a guy I know from OKC. His car is sick! Its a fully built 427, full weight 3800 lb street car. He drove it 88 miles down to where I live and put it in a car show! Last I had heard he put down 707rwhp on motor(that was a while back though), and has a 300 pill hooked up to it. When he ran this time he dialed in at 11.0 and sprayed a 200 shot. Since then he has tuned on it and pulled a 10.60 on motor. So he should get his nitrous run deeper into single digits.

Nice man! I have been chewing on the idea of a 383 conversion, but with the stock cars getting so strong anymore I am thinking I might wait a few years and go on to a 427. Seems like you need a 427 as a base platform just to be generally competitive anymore.
