The Z06 is a world beater sports car for sure. In this video the Vette was carrying waaay more corner speed allowing it a huge advantage in rocketing into the straightaways. Ferrari wannabe racerboy was at 8/10's. Even at 10/10's the Ferrari would still be SMOKED!
Good video. I know from frist hand experience what an incredible car the Ferrari F430 is. Every time I see these videos, more and more I want to get behind the wheel of the new z06.
Even though I love F430's I love the Z06 more; That video is why

The 430 got smoked! If I were the driver of the vette, I would have been really tempted to point by the 430 and play some catch up!!
Oy, yeah, I love this vid. Particularly when the Navy Z slows back and waits for the F430 to catch up, only to completely disappear from his radar moments later.
To the Ferrari's defense, I think that driver was being conservative. Jeremy Clarkson's review of the F430 on track was really impressive and with the 87347823 degrees of suspension and traction control options, I think the Ferrari driver could have pulled his head out and lessened his humiliation.

Instead of yelling "Chew'm up" he should have yelled, "Your getting chewed up"
The only thing that F driver ever said was what you heard him say at the beginning of the race and at the end. The "caption" in that video I think is BS.
The owner of that F car posted that video on CF.com long time ago. He was stand up and I think he mentioned his tire pressure was off that day...not really sure there though.
That said, yes the Z06 is a monster and sure did do a nice job of running that F car. I don't think he would have ever stood a chance. However, I'd take that F430 over it any day!

I give the F-430 driver credit for being truthful enough to post that video. I love the way the F-430 sounds and would own it and a Z06 if I could afford it.
The F-40 would be for going on dates and the Z06 would be the track car...lol.
