Finally got some footage up of my race against a friend of mine. His 97 C5 A4 really has a 408, not a factory 147,000 mile engine like it said in the video


Not sure what shot he is running on the last run, but i assume he is running a 150-200 pill on me.

Excellent! That's very interesting to compare the 408/A4 to the 427/M6, then throw in nitrous.

I don't know if this was the vid or something with my player but the whole thing was in "dreamscape" - i.e. wild colors, like undeveloped film. I could not read any of the writing and it was generally hard to see. Was this how the vid was made?

I could see the outcome though and that was the important part.

damn...that's all I can say about the C6Z. It pulled hard on the motor run. Just amazing. I am torn between continuing the mod fest with my A4 C5, or mortgaging the house to get a C6Z. The Z is such a dsmned good all around package. I'd probably have to put down 500rwhp to pull a stock C6Z in a race.

Unfortunately, there are no C6Zs interested in racing around here, so I will likely never get a chance to run one. Some goes with the GT500. I'd really like to see how well they compete against a H/C C5.

I tell you now that the LS3 is out and what kind of awesome numbers it can put down , I probably would have bought a regular coupe than a Z06 right now. I bet a ls3 with a blower would be mean as hell
