Well, lets just say its been one hell of a year. Where to start. Lets see, in November I find out my soon to be exwife has been having an affair for the last 3 years. I think I handled it very well. We have a considerable amount of assets and I just wanted to move on. I told her we would obviously be getting a divorce but that I wanted to find another house in the meantime so that the loan process would go easier being that we own 2 homes and 2 apartment complexes that bring income. She obviously was ok with this.

She wanted to keep the business that I have invested the last ten years of my life into. Since I really just wanted to basically get on with my life I told her that I was going to get a dealers license for the state of California and finance it out of my store funds then she could have it. Considering that I was handing her a million dollar a year operation she did not object to this either. We came to a simple agreement on the property. I told her to give me 250k for the equity in the home I puchased 9 years ago and she could keep ALL of the properties. Obviously this is not in my best financial interest but as I said, I really just wanted to get on with things. I was also taking all of the cars except for a 80k Mercedes that I purchased for her less than 6 months prior to this.

Fast forward to March. I get approval on a house 2 miles from my old house to make things easy with my son. Then the shit hits the fan. On Thursday I am looking up my bank accounts online and cant find them. I try to call the bank and my phone is not working. So I drive to the bank and along the way stop to fill up the car. Credit card not working. I get to the bank and guess what, 3 accounts have been drawn out and closed. My time account is also closed. They told me that someone closed them over the phone 15 minutes ago. After 9 years with this shitty bank they did not contact me about joint accounts leaving. At this point I can not get into contact with my wife who had picked up my son from school and is nowhere to be found. The police refuse to lift a finger because evidently she has done nothing illegal.

The next day I show up at my house after being gone a few hours and my truck is missing. The garage door is also open with the vette still sitting inside. I call up a friend and have him bring a car trailer out and load up my mustang and he drives my chevelle out to his house. Then I took the vette out to a friends house where it got to sit in the weather for the next 3 months. Three days later my exwife calls me telling me to meet her at the house. I show up and its not her, but a few of her "friends" there. Well, without really getting into what happened at that point, lets just say they both left and 20 minutes later the police showed up with them following them. What they have is a restraining order for me to leave my own house and not be able to go to my own store. So in 3 days time this bitch managed to strip me of all of my assets and get me forced out of my own home without a dime to my name except for what was in my secondary business account.

So I take the 4k that I have to my name now and hire an attorney to get an emergency hearing. This results in nothing more than the court giving me 18k of my own money and telling us both that we are not to spend frivolously. Two days later Celine goes to Vegas for the weekend. When she gets home there is a set of 12k(yes 12,000 dollar rims) Lowenhart wheels on my car. The next weekend she goes to disneyworld at a cost of 4k. She is getting away with this by simply filtering money through the business account and saying it is gifts from her sister...

Now lets move forward to June. I am told that I am too move out of MY house yet they still will not lockdown assets so she continues her giant spending spree at my expense. I have to pay the attorney another 5k out of the 18k change the courts gave me. The attorney tells me I will need to pay a forensic accountant another 7k to start working on assets she has hidden. I tell him ok, I am ready to do that whenever since I have no source of income currently so everyday my money is dwindling away. Well, I finally am able to get ahold of his paralegal today after a few weeks of nothing and he has the audacity to ask me for another 5k dollars! I ask him why the hell the forensic accountant has not been called,what has he been doing for my money, etc. He simply tells me to just look at my billing statement. I inform him that I have had 0 return on my investment. No paperwork has been done, we have no court date, and they have got me NONE of my property or liqiud assets of any kind. I told him I would need to speak directly with my attorney at this point because I will not be depositing more money when there has been no results.

Now at this point I know that I will need this forensic accountant to have any hope of getting any of my assets from this bitch thats been doing such a great job of hiding them. But I really have not got the slightest clue about what steps I need to take to obtain him or further this divorce case in any way. And due to being stripped of all funds, I had to let the lease go on my business being that I had no way to obtain inventory at this point. By the way, this divorce was filed less than 6 months after my wife received her citizenship to stay in America. Nice world we live in....

I learned two things which might be helpful to you.

1) She should not have been able to remove the bulk of your shared accounts or close them without your signature. If she did so, your name was either forged or she had someone at the bank help her. Either way you need to check into that.

2) If you have proof of her infidelity BEFORE she was given her green card, you can have the marriage annulled and she should lose her green card.

I checked into both. It is legal in this state for someone on a joint account to close the account in the manner she did. I ran into this with a partnership once. It made me so gun shy that I squashed the business plan.

I may still be able to get her ass out of the country but if I pursue the annullment then all of the assets I have in her name are gone also. So that will have to wait til after I get this wrapped up.

I wouldn't give her anything. Work hard on getting her ass deported, whatever it takes. Just shoot straight for that. It'll have been a vacation for her, at best, but that rotten opportunist needs to leave.

Believe me, Ive had thoughts I did not know I was capable of since all this went down. Its definately an odd feeling when you come to the realization that you are starting to lose your mind and care nothing about the consequences. Anyways, I am heading to the courthouse today to try and figure out how I am supposed to represent myself and further this along.

Also don't write anything you don't want to show up in court, you never know who's looking. Just stay safe, level headed, and get proof of the infidelity so she can hop the next boat out.

Just reading through this got my blood pressure up. I sure hate this for you. The system is stacked to make it profitable for women to pull this sort of scam. The only way you can avoid it is to not marry. It is really stupid.

Court is a gamble ... depending largely on whether your judge is an idiot or not. Either way, a cool presentation is definitely the wisest approach in court proceedings.

Indulging mental revenge scenarios is a sure path to some degree of self-destruction while inflicting 0 harm on the object of disdain. Forgiveness is powerful medicine. Easier said than done of course, but when you have no real choice, one might as well at least try to do what is in his own best interests. Nor do I confuse legal justice with personal forgiveness. It is reasonable in my estimation to separate the two and pursue both simultaneously. That's what the attorney is for. Again, easier said than done. Best wishes.

Ya I know guys. I wont say that I am being calm about it but I choose to remove myself completely from contact with her at any time to prevent any conflict. I still believe in the way I was raised and that marriage is an all or nothing thing. So while I am sure this will have adverse affects on future relationships, I will just have to learn to get past it. Ive been seeing a longterm friend for awhile now. While all of my "friends" were too busy to help me do anything or repay old debts they owed, she helped me handle EVERYTHING so far. Moving my house, my business, giving me a garage to put the corvette in. Giving me a house to sleep in. I usually just take the vette out for a drive to blow off built up frustrations. I will probably end up keeping it and returning it to stock later just so I can have a stock "best model" of a performance car in 20 years. Its also a reminder of what I have left so I would prefer nothing happens to it at this point.

So have no fear guys, I am coping fairly well right now. Very long nights of thinking too much but outside of that I am surviving. My cars are paid off. I really have no debts. So what the hell can they do to me at this point. Im already broke. Can only go up from here so its not as if it can get any worse right.

It sounds to me that you've got a healthy attitude. I'm the same way with marriage. It's either all or nothing.

Well I found new stuff but I am not sure if I can actually do anything with it. When I was loading up my house I found a recorder. Did not think much of it at the time but I started listening to it today. Have not got through much as the recordings are long but the first was my ex recording her own attorney conversation at his office. Lot of admissions on there about her spending a lot of my money even though she was not supposed to and where to send my mail so that I would not get it, etc. Basically just her and her shady attorney admitting that shes a fuckup and how they can screw me.

I cant find anything online about this. Anyone know California law on whether this is admissable in a courtroom?

Also I did find out that my attorney, by law, has to give me an itemized billing sheet so I will be dealing with him soon also.

I would run that by your (hopefully excellent) divorce attorney.

This may just be a key element for you to use that could greatly benefit your case.

If you outspend her on the legal costs most likely you will prevail by hopefully having better lawyers who are well connected and have their way with the judge.

Well, due to the kids being enrolled in football and cheer practice this summer, me and my friend have an excellent network of people in various fields. Found out that the recording I have that my exwife taped with her attorney is fully useable because she voided her attorney client privileges when she taped it. Anyways, I have found an excellent attorney and forensic expert now and fired my old one. So we will see if they can get the ball rolling now.

When this is over Im going to do a burnout in that piece of shit corvette til the tires fall off of it then park it...lol
